In a Flash of Light

In the midst of all the storms brewing around us.  Confusion abounds.  Feeling like you are often in the dark.  Then suddenly there is a flash…….

My Flowers with Flash

The beauty you thought you lost is right there is front of you.

My Flowers with Flash

Though the storm may continue to bring havoc to your world.  There is always a light shining on God’s Garden.

 My Flowers with Flash

With that light comes the budding of new possibilities.

 My Flowers with Flash

To see the world again with the beauty and softness that it can hold even while the storms rage.

My Flowers with Flash

I was lost in the dark,  but found a special bench that said come and stay for awhile.  So stay I will as comfort can always be found even in storms when you are surrounded with friends.

From my changing world

to yours……

Good Morning… Good Afternoon… Good Night…

Whatever it is to you..

Nice pictures! Those remind me of all the flowers my mom had growing in our yard when I was a kid.

I especially like the message and unique pictures Carrie. It seems like storms have been the theme lately doesn't it? There's a calm not just after the storm but during the worst of it by His grace. Have a great day my friend.

Carrie, how happy, happy, happy I am to have found you. My gosh, why didn't I know you on spaces? Wow, my loss for sure; but now here you are and taking fabulous photos and adding just as wonderful words. You really touched me tonight, did you know that? I saw that bench on Lisa's place and wanted to scoop it right up. It's stuck in my head for days. And your peony! I love peonies and when I was a little girl used to sit and watch the ants open them for hours. My neighbor and I were just talking about them today. Now I have a yen to plant a whole fence full. Ok, I need to stop talking your ear off -- that's hard to do sometimes, lol, but I'll stop for now. As of this moment I'm in your followers group and lovin' it. Cya soon :D

I so enjoyed the slide show up there. The precious sweet girl violets..I adore violets, they are my special loves. An the gorgeous dandelion.
I have to say I loved that comment in my blog about clothes etc. where you said you've surprised folks coming to the house finding you in rags and mismatched pieces. We must be sisters! If I don't know you're on your way, I will often be the same way. That really hit a chord. But when I leave the house as far as the curb, I am band-box ready. :-)

Blog Quest said...

Hi Carrie,

New blog diggs is looking good. Enjoyed the picture show too…

I have to apologize. I have moved Blog Quest here on Blogger-roo. I wanted a better URL. Silly me. Just did not want my full name flying around the blog universe for those who want to read Blog Quest and I really don’t know a lot about some of them. Just trying to use a little blog wisdom. We know who our little blog circle is that we can trust.

I am still going to keep the “original” Blog Quest open at Windows Live Spaces. I still have hope for the Microsft blog geeks to hear and adjust for an adequate WLS.

But I must admit Blogger is now feeling a bit homey. Although it still takes me lots of “clicks” to find my way around.

Have a wonderful week…Greg

Hello Carrie, thanks for visit. Did not notice ants on the bud before. You must own an amazing camera to complement your amazing talent. The colours (on my screen) of lilacs against darkened sky are breathtaking. Quite and chill day for July in YVR. Apparently, summer is coming along...LOL but must admit like cooler temps for joints. The move looks good. TTFN Sending Happy Thoughts for a Happy Planet

I've been tempted to avoid using the flash if at all possible but you've showed me that it can produce some really spectacular effects. I'll be experimenting with this one. Thanks, Carrie!

Hi Carrie, It was so nice walking through your garden of beatiful flowers, after working all day. What a delight to stop by and just sit and relax and enjoy the view, and read your blog.
I have only been here a couple of days and blogger is now my second home, as I am still at spaces for the forseeable future. I was one of the fortunate ones and my space seems to be working fine. I am so sorry that it was such a pain in the a........s for you.
I do believe good things will come out of all of this for all of us, in one way or another. Life does go on beyond WLS. Up until recent I have fully enjoyed spaces and I still have good friends there as well as here and so I stay.
It is good to see you Carrie.
Hugs and Smiles
Dianne :)
