Computer and Back problems

Just wanted to let everyone know.  I had to stay off the computer for awhile as I have a slipped disc and setting here was very painful. Last night was my frist night to finally get some rest and am feeling better.  Yesterday my backlight on my computer screen went.  God must really want me to stay off this computer for awhile.  So until I get it fixed I have to hold a trouble light up to it to barely see the screen.  So all of this has limited my ability to blog and visit anyone..    But it has been interesting just laying around and letting my mind wonder without pressure of getting things done.   Something I haven’t experience for quite a few years now.  Life without staring into the computer for hours isn’t such a bad thing.  Anyway my friends hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and if my computer isn’t fixed by New Years I am wishing you a Happy New Year.

Hugs Carrie

Oh, so sorry, Carrie, but happy that your back is at least somewhat better. Staying off the computer is like trying to break an addiction, isn't it? When my hard drive died and my computer had to be in the shop for 2 weeks, it was ataylmost as bad as when I quit smoking. I paced, I moped, I carried on like there was no tomorrow, but after the first week, it wasn't as bad. I even got some things done I'd been putting off for lord knows how long. OH, and I found a pair a shoes I hadn't seen in at least 6 months! So it wasn't all bad, lol. Stay off the computer. Rest. Walk if you can but not up and down steps, just straight even walks....slowly. While you're gone, you can always make some notes with an actual pencil (remember those?) about all the things you'll see and heat and later tell us about. Hey, I'm trying to find an upside for ya. In the meantime, I'll be thinking of you and so will everyone else, and wishing you well, and sending an easy hug. XOXOXO

(what on earth was that word I typed? "ataylmost"; good grief)

(and I don't think you'll "heat" anything either; I'm leaving this keyboard and buying a pencil)

I know what back problems are as I had back surgery in 2000. The pain was excruciating. Take care of yourself and do exactly as the doctor says.
Happy New Year Carrie!

Carrie, I am so sorry to hear of your back problems. I do hope and pray it's better, and you aren't having anymore pain. Take care of yourself. Sorry about your computer but it looks like you are making the best of things, and yes there are lots of things to do besides sit at your computer. We will miss you though in the mean time.
Take care and I hope you and hubby have a Happy and Healthy New Year filled with Peace, Love, Joy, Good Health and much more.
Hugs, Dianne :)

I've been horrid about visiting these blogs but now that Christmas is over and things have settled a bit I can get back to it. I'm just recently able to sit also! I busted my tailbone on Dec 10th so slowly but surely I'm getting healed. I hope you heal as well and I have to say the lying there with nothing to distract you sounds like heaven to me! Get well soon!

Dear Carrie, I'm so sorry that you are suffering such pain from a slipped disc in your back. You are in good care with God, trust in His healing hands. You do work so very hard, may this time of rest bring you into a deeper relationship with God and bring you deep inner-peace and happiness. God bless you. Wishing you a great year ahead! With love and care from Kerrie. xOx

Carrie, How nice to hear from you!!!

I'm still here too, although I understand that sometime in the near future, all MySpace accounts will be inaccessible. I have joined FaceBook to keep up with what's going on with family and friends but it is mostly a waste of time.

I really enjoyed the blogs and pictures that you and Lisa posted on MySpace. I miss that.

Here's hoping you and yours have a great year in 2011.

Warm regards,

John

Hi, sweetie. I left you a note on your other page, too, but had to ck here as well. I wish there was some way to make your back feel better. I don't think I ever told you, but back in '92 I broke my back and now have lots of plates (rods) and screws. Wasn't fun, and I know that pain you're feeling. I'll be back to ck on you again, and until then, go easy and know we all care so much.
XOXOXO
