Orchids on the Forest Floor

There once were little fairies who roamed the forest floor. In a place of enchantment that exists no more.

God planted lady slippers as a reminder from above.  I Am here in the forest, look closely and you will see my love.

P5180039

Tread lightly on my garden for nature is my gift to you.  As she disappears like the fairy, I too am sad and blue.

P5180020

I sprinkle little flowers, a smile each one can bring. Your heart will feel a song you will want to learn to sing.

P5180023

Spread your smiles, spread your love.  This is my song from above…

Let us all sing the song of love….

with a

Good Morning…  Good Afternoon…  Good Night…

Whatever it is to you.

Hello, I am very impressed by your pictures and little poems. I am not sure that I saw these wild flowers in our forest. They are beautiful. fragile and very touching. Wonderful pictures! I love also your poem. There is joy in it and love.

I am very glad that I found your blog. It's very different and very inspiring. A little cup of my daily inspiration.

They're beautiful! Great pics! Do you know how long these Orchids flower last? I know some last months and months, maybe they're different type.

Gorgeous flowers, Carrie - I've never come across these in the wild. Great words to go along with your shots.

Absolutely stunning.... the beautiful words go so nicely with these amazing close up snapshots! Ok, I’ll admit it, like many people, Lady’s Slippers are one of my favourite spring wildflowers. I remember being told and hearing that when taken with whiskey, these delicate flowers were known to supposedly treat general ailments. If anything, they can certainly cheer you up just with their simple beauty.
It's sad to think that because of loss of habitat and harvesting of wild plants for sale, we may end up seeing fewer and fewer of them. Nature sure holds a lot of precious items for our enjoyment and protection.

Hi Carrie, Just thought I would drop by and do a little catch up. I just love your little Lady's with their beautiful faces. Your photos and poem are Beautiful. I love wildflowers, but haven't been able to get out and discover them so far this year.

When I get busy, busy, I stop and think about what you said a while back on my blog. You told me to stop, and take time to breath. I smile when I think of that and I take a deep breath. Feels wonderful. :)

Hey Carrie , I was wondering if you use Microsoft Explorer as your browser. I don't think the latest Explorer is fully compatible with Google. I had the same problem as you were having when trying to leave a comment on someone's blog. When I switch to Firefox I don't have that problem, and when I look at my blog, that third photo off to the right side is where it is suppose to be. When I use explorer, the picture is off to the far right. I am afraid to try and move it back to the center, because last time I did that, it messed up my writing and it took forever to get it back to where it is suppose to be. Maybe Google changed something so more people would use their browser instead. Not sure but it sure is a bummer and frustrating at times.
Any way, you take care and keep clicking and writing those beautiful Inspirations of yours.
Hope all is well.
Hugs Dianne :)
