God’s Gift of Love and Life

It came upon a midnight clear
That glorious song of old
From angels bending near the earth

to touch their harps of gold.

Peace on earth, goodwill to men

From heavens all gracious King.

The world in solemn stillness lay

to hear the angels sing.

Still through the cloven skies they come

With peaceful wings unfurled

And still their heavenly music floats

O’er all the weary world

Above its’ sad and lowly plains
They bend on hovering wing

And ever o’er its’ Babel sounds

The blessed angels sing

For lo! the days are hastening on

By prophet bards foretold

When with the ever circling years

Comes round the age of gold

When peace shall over all the earth

Its’ ancient splendours fling

And the whole world send back the song
Which now the angels sing

Peace on Earth
Goodwill to all Men

May God’s gift of love and life
find a place in your heart
and have a
Wonderful Christmas
and a
Blessed New Year

Here I Am/Carrie

That is an angelic landscape without a doubt! It's been cool but relatively snow free for the season. I expect that once winter is here in actuality we'll be seeing a lot more of the white stuff but right now I'm wondering if Christmas will be white at all. Grace to you my friend, this really was a delightful post!

Beautiful snow pictures with everyone, you get beautiful and delicate lights. It's amazing how nature endows the animals to adapt to such low temperatures. It must be wonderful to live in nature in a beautiful place. Greetings and wish you happy holidays to you and all around you.

Carrie, i believe this is not my first time to read you "Winter blue", but it just as fresh as first time to feel the fantastic beauty, and enormous joy.
Country life never gets boring when you feel it with heart and appreciation to the nature. when Christmas lit up, it just like a paradise for me.
i was inspired by your winter trips to State, finally i made it in the past holiday season. The winter in Arizona desert was everything you can call it but desert.
the project keep me away for quite some time, and will come to catch up later.
Happy New year of Dragon, wish you a prosperous and more energetic year, as that is the dragon all about !
