Call of the Lily

I woke this morning to find you had been here,
but remembered you had never left.
For in the blooms of my lilies you showed yourself today.

Sometimes life gets so busy
I loose sight of you and my connection is lost.

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

But like the lost lamb you are always there to guide me back
so I can feel your presence and feel secure in this crazy world..

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

You lift me high again
so that I may shine and continue to blossom.

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

Though sadness and tears may sometime come to me
I will know in my heart that I will only grow stronger when you are near me.

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

Your strength and presence in my life
will always help me to know the heart of my fellow man.

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

With you near me I hope in my own way I can help show
how beautiful and wonderful
our world can be when you are present in ones heart.

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

I pray that I wake up feeling your presence every morning.

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

So please God continue to shine a light on nature
so that I may never forget how you have gotten me through hard times and helped me grow.

Photo by Here I Am Carrie

May you see God’s light of presence in nature
as a reminder to you that he is there
and have a
Good Morning…   Good Afternoon…   Good Night….
What ever it is to you..

Absolutely gorgeous, just like YOU.
Hiiiiii, dahlin' Carrie :D
I've missed you, too! Just not ready to pick up blogging again "yet" -- never say never -- and lord knows tons of stuff has happened in the last 3 years, some so darn funny and other things not so much. That's life, though, right? I miss everyone and think about the group many times every single week, seriously! Always wondering if everyone is ok and I almost come back just to see, but then I know I'll post something and then feel a major case of the guilts if I don't post again. So, I wait. What for, who knows. Was a very rough time is all I can say, but know this: you made a big impression and you still do. Don't you ever, ever drop me off your list of followers, sheesh.
Sending big hugs and lots of love,

Hi everyone I just wanted to let the news out that I got my new camera the Panasonic Lumix FZ200 I have been wanting it since last fall. I love it and it feels right in my hands after only using it a few times. The first 2 photos on this blog are from the new camera. My old little camera did a pretty good job also, but now I have some zoom and many capabilities of a DSL camera, just only one lens. So the learning begins on another level. Happy nature watching to you. Hugs Carrie

Hi Carrie,

Congratulations on your new camera, so happy for you! All your pictures are breathtakingly beautiful including the ones you have shot with the new lens. It is so much fun to play around with something new and the entire learning process follows. It also inspires our creativity in so many ways, I feel while we try out the new features in newer ways. All the best.

The post is simply beautiful as always... nature is truly divine. It reminds us of His presence in more than one ways and helps us to lead our life in a healthy and good way. I always look forward to hearing from you. Your words fill my days with positivity and joy. Many thanks for sharing the beauty, Carrie. Wish you wonderful days ahead.

Hey, Carrie, had to run back to leave another note. I'm really concerned about Arlene (Ruby Tuesday is her dog and Tango had passed away)as she hasn't posted since April. Her Ruby blog has to have moderator approval to post comments and that hasn't been done in a longggg time. I also left her notes on her "dogs in her life" blog and no response there although my comments posted.
I'm feeling a bit scared like something may have happened to her and just thought I'd ck to see if you knew anything at all. She is the absolute dearest. If you know anything, leave me a note on my page, ok? Thanks, sweets :) Xoxoxo

Carrie! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the news about Arlene. I tell you, I was really getting nervous and I guess you can see, April, lol. But the news was great and I'm very relieved and hope her holiday is fabulous. Now for Facebook: you know, I think I might be close to the last person on Earth that hasn't opened a Facebook page. I'll think about it, and if I decide to do it, you can be sure, oh yeah, very sure I'll come knockin', lol. Catch you again soon, Carrie, and MUAH!
