Flowing Feelings of Fall

I drift, I float, I sail through the season.
Searching out natures hidden reason.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

In secret places I explore,

always looking for that open door.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

When I find it, through I go,

stepping lightly, breathing slow.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

A world of color I behold,

God’s gift to me I was told.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

Reds and yellow that I see,

help my feelings flow in me.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

A crisp cold presence is in the air,

I can feel it, I know it is there.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

A rain of leaves begin to fall,

I can hear the voices of winter call.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

It whispers through the breeze,

it’s time to sleep my leafy trees.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

I breath deep again as secrets unfold,

the feelings come and soon take hold.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

Words can not define the sparkles I see,

as a vision of beauty, I know I am free.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

Every detail is suddenly clear,

your presence is felt ever so near.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

There I see your reflection

and suddenly understand the connection.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

Your are here surrounding me with your love,

here on earth, not just from above.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

So now I feel the flow of fall,

knowing that you exist in all.

Creations by Here I Am/Carrie

My heart smiles in finding you,

as I drift, float and sail through the season.

Where to Focus in Life

We look here we look there.  We look far away and sometimes up close.  Often we wonder where we should focus in life?

Our big world up close is such a fascinating place,
filled with so many intricacies that tie it all together.
That wonderful web of life.

But when looking at the big picture we often don’t see how
every living thing is somehow depending on another.  We somehow
see it all but see it as separate in the big picture of things.

But when one does focus more on a certain living things
you begin to realize how the big picture fades away and you can now
start to see the details that begin to connect to the web of life.

Photos by Here I Am/Carrie

You begin to see it more clearly as a whole and how it can
relate to the bigger, yet still not quite focused picture of life.

We all find ourselves at these different places where
we focus our lives and feel our connections.

Photos by Here I Am/Carrie

Just remember to always stretch your arms out
and let yourself focus, so you can better understand how
we are all connected to God’s wonderful web of life.

His Light Shines Upon Us

When God’s light shines upon us we begin to illuminate from within.

His rays of love spreading down around us.

We begin to glow.

Never afraid of his light, but standing tall so that it may flow into us.

We raise our hands to his glory.

Opening ourselves to all his love.

So that his rays may shine through us.

With his light, the love we carry can be seen and felt.

Bringing  hope and faith in all who often feel lost.

Through his light of love much is revealed.

Life becomes brilliant and full of joy when God’ light shines upon us.

Life’s Mountains, Meadows, Lakes

My Father Gave Me Nature

My Father in heaven created nature.
My Father on earth taught me to
see, respect and love it.
When we were children my dad always
took our family out camping in nature.
From mountain tops to rivers, to lakes, ocean beaches
and everything in between, he took us where we
learned to fish, swim and hike without fear, but most important to respect God’s creation of nature.

My dad showed me
what God had created for us.

that are often not seen.

To the large ones that can be so elusive.

My dad shared with me
all that nature had to
offer when I was growing up.

God had created for us.

My dad taught me how to feel the
colors and moods that nature presented.

To walk with my eyes open

family is and how we should always stay close.

To my Father in Heaven and my Father on earth.
I thank you for your gift of nature
and your gift of love.
