Jewels for Nature’s Christmas

There are some days in nature when she just wants to sparkle and shine.

The colors of fall have faded,
which often sadden her.
So to brighten the days again
she bejewels herself in preparation.

She adorns even
the tiniest diamonds and crystals
to hang off her dull graying parts.

With pearls often crowning
her to give her elegance again.

Her heart begins to glow
knowing that God has brought her a gift.

No need for tears or being sad.

No need for a heavy heart.

His hand will reach out and touch
all who open their hearts to his gift of life and love.

God touches nature in a way that makes
here shimmer and shine
where once death was her only future.

She now is like a feather
whose lace wings have lifted her back to life.

Her body now flows with a light dance.

Let your tears be tears of joy.

life gets dull and depressing

Where to Focus in Life

We look here we look there.  We look far away and sometimes up close.  Often we wonder where we should focus in life?

Our big world up close is such a fascinating place,
filled with so many intricacies that tie it all together.
That wonderful web of life.

But when looking at the big picture we often don’t see how
every living thing is somehow depending on another.  We somehow
see it all but see it as separate in the big picture of things.

But when one does focus more on a certain living things
you begin to realize how the big picture fades away and you can now
start to see the details that begin to connect to the web of life.

You begin to see it more clearly as a whole and how it can
relate to the bigger, yet still not quite focused picture of life.

We all find ourselves at these different places where
we focus our lives and feel our connections.

Just remember to always stretch your arms out
and let yourself focus, so you can better understand how
we are all connected to God’s wonderful web of life.

Lilies and Life

As we bob thru life, ripples of our surrounding effect our every being…

We try to remain rooted to that which holds us steadfast and secure.

Sometimes we just float free watching life pass by us..

Suddenly we glimpse something that draws us back.

        P6200117

We examine closely and soon feel that which caused us to pause..

        P6200122

We become the light of our creator

        P6200128

We Smile…

        P6200143

As the sparkles reflect off us onto others

        P6200131

Who may now pause to become a part of a life thought to only drift..

        P6200140

And know that we are not alone on this big lily pad

but surrounded by the light of all that is love..

Sparkles

May the light of love surround you…

May it keep you afloat

May your soul be anchored

to that which Sparkles…
