After Rain

Nothing is more beautiful then to witness the drops of water  after a rain.   To seek out the diamonds left behind to enrich your lives.  They shine with the delicate balance of the many facets of nature.

does not know when to leave off.

I am sure it is a great mistake always to know enough to go in when it rains.
One may keep snug and dry by such knowledge,
but one misses a world of loveliness.

First I wanted to thank all my friends here who always stop in and comment. I apologize for my absence in visiting. Life has been so busy and I am still trying to get all my old blogs reposted and just haven't been able to find the time to do even that. This is one from 2 years ago. I have many more to go. The weather is frigid here right now around -25c. I thought I would be spending all day inside, instead there where many problems outside that had to be dealt with. It was way too cold to be outside. But something had to be taken care of. I hope to blog on it at A Window to my World in the next couple day. Again I so miss all my visits with all of you.. Hugs Carrie

Carrie, I went through these photos so slowly so as not to miss a thing, and then I went back and did it again, except this time clicking to enlarge each. Magnificent. Each one deserves a 'full screen' view. Adeline Knapp was right about missing so much beauty when we go inside to keep dry. It makes me think back to childhood when nothing was better than being in the rain and jumping into puddles.
Wonderful, wonderful post, Carrie. I am so glad to have you as a friend. xoxoxo :)

Absolutely beautiful, sweet Carrie. You have a love and affinity for nature. I am also in awe of and in love with nature as well.

One of the little joys of the mountain meadows was the afternoon shower and to walk among the plants freshly splattered. To watch those moments as they wear their jewelry.
Nice journey, thanks.
