Alone in the Desert
Alone I be, alone I stand,
surrounded by the desert sand.
Mountains tall, sky so blue,
my roots they search for only you.
From your touch I grow so green,
filled with you my life is seen.
Reaching high, reaching deep,
your drops of life wake my sleep.
Soon to come seeds of hope
in this world one learns to cope.
Alone I be, alone I stand,
a prickly cactus in this land.

I would also like to express to my friends and followers here how much I have missed connecting with so many special people here. I just won’t be able to get around and visit everyone as my internet is very limited in access.
So to all of you I would like to say
“you have given me a place to come to that helps me laugh, cry, get inspired, think deeply, spur creativity, learn something, share in your sorrows, your triumphs and learn to be accepting in where life leads us as well as always staying grounded. So often I stray off my path but one of you out there always seems to blog about something to keep me going where I need to go. You are all such an inspiration to me. I have missed my visits with you dearly without internet.”
Thank you all for being here and being you. As many of our journeys are the climbing of the mountains in our lives, life here below sea level at our winter home seems to sometimes drain me of my energy along with all the work and being in contact with people on a daily basis. I am a bit of a hermit. Yes it is warm and the sun shines every day and I am thankful, but I miss my mountains and solitude even with the snow. I have missed all of you very much this winter and look forward to my visits again when I am back on the internet and at home in my valley in British Columbia again.
Sharing the beauty of simply sunsets at the Salton Sea.
I love the sunsets here.
As the sun sets on your day remember that you make a difference in someone’s life.
You certainly have in mine.
May you have a
Good Morning… Good Afternoon… Good Night…
