Reflections of a Hint of Autumn

Today I saw reflections of a hint of Autumn,  it has  been awhile since the small things in life have really caught my eye.  But Autumn is in the air and with it comes an energy that always gives me one last surge to carry me on thru till the nights grow long.  Then the time will come to rest.  Until then I will bask in the glory of the color of the reds, yellows and oranges.  Feeling the vibrate energy that will resonate thru me giving a lift during that part of the year it is most needed.

Canyon walls that rise so high,
carved from torrent ice age floods
transforming the landscape forever.

Pointing to the heavens so that time can be told.

Shadows that roam free and wild.

Alone in the night following where my eye leads.

A mirage standing alone on the barren landscape.

In my mind they generate both
positive and negative thoughts.

So big and blue as it
snakes thru the barren landscape.

Energy of man looms over the energy of nature.

 

Patients my Dear
Being patient and still, finally that elusive
visitor comes to me.

 

Spirit Lake Fire
The spirits were angered this day as man had
started this fire.

 

Valley of Haze
Thru the smoke filled sky’s, the glory of the sun
still cast its glow on the valley.

 

Nearing Home
Charging to meet the setting sun.
